Trek Leadership Positions

 

  • Tents

    • (2) large 4-5 person tents for the youth.

    • (1) 2-3 person  for you both and

    • possibly a 4th tent for equipment (not a must)

  • Dutch Ovens

    • (3) Large Dutch Ovens (could get by with 2)

    • Lid lifters

    • Leather gloves

    • Tongs

    • Small container or spray bottle of oil to re-season ovens after each use

    • Lighters or matches

    • Charcoal chimney

    • Newspaper to light charcoal

  • Cooking Utensils - knives, cutting boards, potato peelers, spatulas, whisks, can opener, pitcher, measuring cups, spoons, etc (anything you might need)

  • Dish washing supplies

    • 3 small/medium plastic tubs, dish soap, bleach, pads, dish towels, etc (good sanitation is critical)

  • Simple first aid kit for blisters (moleskin suggested)

  • Extra small supply of Toilet Paper (just in case)

  • small collection of bungy cords

  • (2) 5 gallon water coolers

  • Extra 5 gallon bucket (to store loose item in the cart like water bottles)

  • A pot or kettle to boil Water

  • Tarps - to cover items if needed and to use under tents

  • 8 ft. rope to tie items down in cart if needed

  • Rope and clothes pins for clothes line.

  • Camping tools - Rope, pliers, duct tape, camp shovel, handyman tool (and anyother handy camp tool you might need/want)

  • Lantern or good flashlight

  • Extra eating utinsels and water bottles for youth in your famliy who may forget theirs

  • You own personal gear

  • Large Garbage bags

  • Charcoal for cooking
